Service

Today, I was driving to meet some friends at the pool and I had the best service opportunity. I was driving down the road and noticed that an older woman had fell into the bushes. She was over weight and was not able to get up on her own. I pulled over, put my hazard lights on, and got out to help her. Every morning in my prayers, I pray for a service opportunity to come into my life so I can help someone. I am happy when I am serving others. I have never had one like this but this was something that reminded me that my prayers are answered. She had drove her scooter into the bushes and had fell over. Her leg was stuck under the scooter. Luckily, someone else pulled over as well and she was able to get the scooter back onto the sidewalk while I lifted this lady up out of the dirt and back onto her scooter. She drove off and was probably a little embarrassed. However, I was grateful that I was in the right place at the right time and was able to help this lady. I don't know how long she had been sitting there but I know her leg was hurting super bad stuck under her scooter. There are always service opportunities out there if we just seek for them and then act on our promptings.
