Lake Powell 2013

We spent the past couple days in Lake Powell.  My family went down so we thought we would tag along for a little getaway.  My parents and sisters went and then they invited 4 other families (Steve and Heather Skanchy, John and Jodi Russell, Dale and Becky Gledhill, Mike and Juliette Salazar, and all of their families).  Everyone had a blast.  The houseboat was so fun, especially with lots of good company.  We had 3 ski boats and 4 wave runners. Eric and I were on the wave runners most of the trip.  Macie loved going on the wave runners with Eric because he would go so fast.  It was nice to go down to the lake and just relax for a couple of days and spend time with family.  It is one of my family's favorite vacations to play games, eat yummy food, and spend time together with no distractions.  A very close family friend passed away this past Sunday, so we came home yesterday to attend his funeral. So glad that my mom and dad have a houseboat and a ski boat. This is a great vacation and will be so fun when all of my sisters and I are married and have little kiddies. We LOVE Lake Powell!
