Three Month Update- Harper

@madisonscecil

How Old?
3 Months! Growing so fast!

Size?
I am thinking she is probably around 12 pounds now.

Sleeping?
We are struggling in this department. Harper slept with my parents (aka Lolly and Pop) the entire time we were visiting in Utah so now she thinks that sleeping in our bed is what she should be doing. I am hoping I can get her trained to sleep in her own bed and stay in there soon.

Eating?
Harper is the master at breastfeeding and is loving mommy's milk. She has never drank from a bottle before because she is with mama all the time.

Size of Clothes?
Harper is still in mostly 0-3 month clothes but some 3-6 month clothes fit her.

Harper Likes:
-Being held!
- Talking and going in the car.
- Bath Time!! It is her favorite part of the day. She loves splashing in the bath.

Harper Dislikes:
- Sleeping in her own bed.
-Being left alone!
- She definitely doesn't like being quiet. She loves to talk!

Harper is just the sweetest little thing. She makes us oh so happy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Eric is 27!! He had to work on his birthday but when he got home, Harper and I made him his favorite dinner and we watched his favorite show. I think if I asked Eric what the best part of his day was, it would be having Harper here and the sweet card that she gave him. There is no doubt about it! Harper has officially stolen mine and Eric's hearts!

2015- A Year In Review

January: I had my tonsils and adenoids taken out and my mom came to take care of me after my surgery. Austin and McCall got engaged this month as well.

February: Took a trip to Utah to watch my sisters while Mom and Dad went to London. I was able to get some of Grandma's sugar cookies and see the new Savage office while I was there. Eric and I also found out we were expecting on Valentine's Day (The Ultrasound picture shown below was around 5 weeks pregnant). We were so excited with the good news! Baby coming in October!

March: We went on a weekend getaway to San Antonio to the Valero Texas Open PGA Golf Tour and my dad came down a couple days before my birthday for a visit.

April: We announced we were pregnant, we traveled to Utah to honor Grandpa Savage at BYU, and Morgan came to Houston for a visit.

May: I graduated from UVU with my Bachelor's degree. We went to Utah so I could walk at graduation and attend McCall's family bridal shower. We also found out Baby Cecil was a GIRL!

June: Our Houston Ward friends threw me a baby shower and we traveled to Utah to be with McCall as she went through the temple and as she and Austin were married.

July: Eric and I were able to finish building/buy our first home and we moved from Houston to Fort Worth. Eric's mom came to help us move in which was a HUGE help!

September: Fort Worth friends threw me a baby shower and I attended "Time Out For Women" with Aunt Mary and Uncle Richard! It was an awesome experience!

October: Eric was called into the bishopric in our ward so his dad came down to ordain him a high priest and the most exciting part about 2015… We welcomed Harper Lynn Cecil into our family! My mom (aka "Lolly") came down to help with the baby right after she was born.

November: "Pop" (Grandpa Savage) came down to see Harper the first of the month but we missed getting a picture. Also this month, Harper turned 1 month old, Grandma and "Poppy" Cecil and Rachel came down for Thanksgiving and to meet Harper, and mommy saw her childhood best friend after many many years.

December: Harper was blessed, she turned 2 months old and had her first set of vaccines, and we traveled to Utah for Christmas!

2015 was a great year and it is going to be a hard one to beat. The highlights of the year were graduating from college (Eric and I are both pretty proud we can call ourselves college graduates), becoming homeowners, and of course having a new little baby girl come into our family. We can't wait for 2016 and the fun times ahead!
