Utah Christmas 2015

This year was the year to spend with my family in Utah for Christmas. Eric and I debated if we should take our two month old baby on an airplane for months. We didn't know if it would be the best idea with the flu going around. We decided to do it and it was the best decision! Before we left, we did our own little Christmas at our house. Eric and I exchanged gifts and we gave Harper her presents from mommy and daddy. Santa came and saw Harper in Utah. It was so fun to have our own tree and stockings set up in our house. I am so glad we did our own Christmas before we left. There is no way we would of been able to get everything back.

Harper was a dream to travel with. We flew to Utah from Fort Worth on the 21st of December and we came back today (the 31st). The best part of the trip was taking Harper to meet her family. The 10 days in Utah consisted of family gatherings, shopping, eating, playing games, and just relaxing. We all came down with a case of the stomach flu while we were there for a day or so. However, we still managed to have tons of fun.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted a 5 generation picture. My great-grandma and Harper's great-great-grandma is 92 years old. It was so fun to get the picture and it is something that I will always treasure. I love these women and am so grateful for the examples that they are. Harper is lucky to have these incredible women in her life.

Aunt McCall gave Harper a bath the entire time we were there and McCall, Morgan, and Macie all changed so many diapers. It was nice to have a little break and the girls did such a great job of taking care of Harper. My mom and dad knew that Eric and I were both exhausted so Harper slept with them the entire time we were in Utah. It was so nice to catch up on some sleep and I know Harper's Lolly and Pop loved the snuggles.

Santa didn't forget about Harper thats for sure!

Eric and I miss the snow so having a white Christmas was so much fun. The snow capped mountains made us so happy.

Macie and Harper had matching dresses that they wore to Church on Sunday!

Eric and I got so many weird looks leaving the DFW airport. I was carrying Harper in the carrier on me and then we had 6 bags plus the diaper bag. People probably thought we were moving. We had tons of stuff to bring back and there is still some that we didn't get back quite yet. The holidays are so much fun and they are even better when you spend them with family. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
